Applications Sought for CIPCAC

The City of Rio Rancho is seeking applications from residents with experience and/or knowledge of the real estate, development, or building industries to fill a seat on its Capital Improvements Plan Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CIPCAC).  Applications from residents without experience and/or knowledge of the real estate, development, or building industries will also be accepted. The term of appointment will be for three years.


The committee advises on the preparation, implementation, and updating of the City’s impact fees capital improvement plan. This plan pertains to construction and/or acquisition of public assets necessary to meet growth service level goals and objectives using fees paid by new development. The committee also advises on federal Community Development Block Grant funding allocations. Regular committee meetings take place on a quarterly basis at City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Circle.


Individuals interested in serving as a volunteer on the committee must submit an application form and résumé to the Office of the City Clerk. Applications can be obtained by visiting the Clerk’s office inside City Hall, or by visiting www.rrnm.gov/index.aspx?NID=2748.  Applications will be accepted and considered until the positions are filled.
