Parks, Recreation and Community Services Calendar

  1. Friday Night Flicks at A Park Above

    MOVIE: Despicable Me. Summer nights are meant for friends and family so why not bring everyone together for a movie at either Cabezon Park or A Park Above? Every Friday night beginning at dusk, the Parks & Recreation team will be hosting a family friendly movie. Just bring a blanket and snacks! This is a weather permitting event. Event Guidelines: • Friday Night Flicks is open to the public. • All movies are free and begin at dusk. • Parking is limited, please consider walking. • Bring blankets or folding chairs for comfort. • Grab a picnic basket, or take advantage of the on site vendors. • Alcoholic beverages and smoking are not allowed. • Movies will be canceled due to inclement weather such as high winds or lightning. • Weather cancellations will be made one hour prior to movie.
