The city of Rio Rancho is seeking applications from residents interested in filling the City Council District 2 and 4 seats on its Parks and Recreation Commission that will become open on June 1, 2016.
The commission acts in an advisory capacity to the Governing Body to insure the efficient, economical and comprehensive planning of parks and recreation. The commission meets at 6 p.m. on the third Monday of each month at Rio Rancho City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Circle.
Individuals interested in applying and serving as a volunteer on this commission for a three-year term must submit an application form and résumé to the Office of the City Clerk. Applications can be obtained by visiting the Clerk’s office inside Rio Rancho City Hall, or by using the links below. Those interested in applying to serve on the commission are encouraged to do so before June 1. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
