Informational Meeting: North Beach Bosque Trail Improvements

RIO RANCHO N.M.— The City of Rio Rancho and District 6 City Councilor, Dave Bency, will host an informational meeting about a plan to make improvements to the ¾ of a mile stretch of bosque near North Beach. The public is invited to the meeting on Thursday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.

At the informational meeting, City Parks, Recreation and Community Services staff and Councilor Bency will present an overview of the proposed upcoming improvements and a tentative timeline, the history of the area, and the Bosque Management Plan.

The City of Rio Rancho has a total of 178 acres in its bosque preserve and making improvements to the area is necessary to keep all users safe and preserve the natural habitat.
