Runoff Election
Because no candidate received more than 50 percent of the total votes cast in the regular municipal election for the offices of Mayor and District 5 City Councilor, a runoff election is necessary per City Code.In the runoff election, the candidates will be:
- Mayor (four-year term, at-large)

- Michael J. Williams
- District 5 City Councilor (four-year term)
- Thomas R. Buckner
- Shelby Smith
