Building Maintenance

The Building Maintenance Section is responsible for maintenance on twenty-seven (27) City buildings. Work orders are generated through an internal work order system and maintenance is performed on any part of operations within these buildings.

Maintenance on City Buildings May Include:

  • Concrete foundation repair for City buildings.
  • Door handle installation and repair for City buildings.
  • Furniture removal or relocation for City buildings.
  • Install or repair carpet, vinyl tile, and ceramic tile.
  • Maintain and replace patriotic flags on NM 528 only.
  • Maintenance of Fire and Security alarms in City buildings.
  • Minor electrical, light, plumbing, roof, and wall repair for City buildings.
  • Interior painting of City buildings.
  • Panic device and door closer installation and repair for City buildings.
  • Pest control within City buildings.
  • Snow removal on City building sidewalks.
