HDR Engineering, Inc. is preparing the final construction plans and the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) Environmental and Utility Certifications for the project. The City will be preparing the NMDOT Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Right-of-Way, and Railroad Certifications. The project includes construction of asphalt pavement, raised medians, and an asphalt paved multi-use trail on Lincoln Avenue from Adams Lane to Chayote Road; construction of a roundabout at Lincoln Avenue and Chayote Road intersection; construction of a new intersection at Lincoln Avenue and Paseo del Volcan (also known as NM 347); construction of auxiliary lanes on Paseo del Volcan; construction of drainage and associated pond improvements; construction of retraining walls and wall barrier on Paseo del Volcan; and replacement of guard rails and end treatments on Paseo del Volcan.
