Parent, Teacher, and STEAM Resources
**Due to Covid-19, the library is not circulating Storytime Kits, STEM2U Kits, or telescopes at this time.**
Thanks to a generous grant from Target, the Loma Colorado Main Library has 25 storytime kits for preschool teachers, parents, and caregivers of young children to check out. Each kit contains four books, a music CD, a puppet or a puzzle, and a list of nursery rhymes and songs to go along with the theme. For more information, please visit the Children’s Services desk or call 891-5013 ext. 3032.
STEM2U is a project started with a STEM Innovation Grant from the New Mexico Library Foundation. The project is designed to connect local educators with science and technology equipment and training through Rio Rancho Public Libraries. The project circulates kits containing cutting-edge STEM manipulatives in quantities suitable for classroom sized groups, and one Sampler Kit for smaller groups.
Please see the STEM2U Flier for more information.
