The City of Rio Rancho is seeking applications from residents interested in filling the City Council District 2 (three-year term), District 3 (completing an existing term with an expiration date of Feb. 2020), District 6 (three-year term) , and at-large seat (three-year term) on its Public Infrastructure Advisory Board.
The board has several responsibilities such as providing road, drainage, and water/wastewater utilities input to the Governing Body in relation to annual budgets and capital improvements, proposed rate and charge adjustments, and financing proposals. Regular meetings of the board take place on a quarterly basis at Rio Rancho City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Circle.
Individuals interested in applying and serving as a volunteer on the board must submit an application form and résumé to the Office of the City Clerk. Those interested can apply via the City’s website, www.rrnm.gov/applicationform, or submit their documents to the Office of the City Clerk located inside Rio Rancho City Hall. Applications will be accepted until the seat is filled; however, those interested are encouraged to apply by Jan. 18, 2019.
