The City of Rio Rancho is seeking applications from residents interested in filling the City Council District 1, District 2, District 3, and District 4 seats on its Public Infrastructure Advisory Board. Current board members have terms expiring in early 2020.
The board has several responsibilities such as providing road, drainage, and water/wastewater utilities input to the Rio Rancho Governing Body (Mayor and City Councilors) in relation to annual budgets and capital improvements, proposed rate and charge adjustments, and financing proposals. Regular meetings of the board take place on a quarterly basis at Rio Rancho City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Circle. Board members serve a three-year term.
Individuals interested in applying and serving as a volunteer on the board must submit an application form and résumé. Those interested can apply via the City’s website, www.rrnm.gov/applicationform, or submit their documents to the Office of the City Clerk located inside Rio Rancho City Hall. Applications will be accepted until the seat is filled; however, those interested are encouraged to apply by February 28, 2020.
