Summer Reading for All Ages at Rio Rancho Public Libraries

The City of Rio Rancho’s Library and Information Services Department’s Summer Reading Program is almost here! Online registration begins at the libraries’ website, www.rrnm.gov/libraries, on Monday, June 7.

The Summer Reading Program will run until July 24. Children and teens are invited to earn a prize through reading and will have the opportunity to be entered into drawings for fun gifts by completing experiential activities. Adults can earn entries for weekly literary themed prize drawings.  This summer, all prizes can be picked up at the libraries.

This year’s summer reading theme is “Tails & Tales” and, throughout the summer, virtual programs and activities will focus on the natural environment.  You can also register online to pick up fun hands-on kits to take home and try. More information about the Summer Reading Program can be found by visiting the libraries’ website or by calling either library (505-891-5013 for Loma Colorado/505-891-5012 for Esther Bone).

The Loma Colorado Main Library is located at 755 Loma Colorado Blvd., and the Esther Bone Memorial Library is located at 950 Pinetree Road.
