Take a stroll of over 300 cars; a beautiful collection of all makes and models 1985 and older. The whole family will enjoy the arts and crafts vendors, food, and fun jumps!     The Rio Rancho Police Department has a history of holding positive community events that serve to connect the police with the citizens of Rio Rancho in a friendly and constructive way. The event will officially begin at 8:30 a.m. and will include activities such as a costume contest and trivia. A special screening of the movie will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be available for viewing on up to five screens. Tickets for the movie are $7.26 at the door and seating is available on a first come, first served basis.

  2. Prescription Drug Take Back Event

    On Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Rio Rancho Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will provide the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. The service is free and anonymous. The take-back program addresses a vital public safety and public health issue as medicines that languish in home cabinets are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse.
