Rentals

Sabana Grande Recreation Center is located at 4110 Sabana Grande Ave. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Phone: (505) 891-6196. 

Sabana Grande Recreation Center has a auditorium, art center, classroom, and patio available to rent for your next event, function, or meeting. All rentals are made on a first come, first served basis. All City of Rio Rancho sponsored programs and events take priority over outside rentals. 
 
Rental Reservations:  
If you are interested in reserving a rental you must fill out the Rental Application and return it via email to JHarvey@rrnm.gov or in person at 4110 Sabana Grande Ave. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A Special Events Permit  will also need to be submitted if you are hosting an event that is classified as a "special event".  For more information please call (505) 891-6196. 

Sabana Grande Recreation Center
Capacity:   250 (Auditorium), 50 (Art Center), 25 (Classroom), 50 (Patio Rental)
Damage Deposit (Refundable): $300 for under 250 people, $1,000 for over 250 people.
Rental Fee:  
  • Auditorium - $150 per hour, includes 10 tables and 100 chairs. 
  • Art Center - $75 per hour, includes 5 tables and 50 chairs.
  • Classroom - $25 per hour, includes 2 tables and 25 chairs.
  • Patio Rental - $100 per hour, includes 5 tables and 50 chairs.
Notice Needed All rentals must be made a minimum of 3 weeks in advance.  
Due date: Rental application, damage deposit, and rental fees are all due at time of reservation.

Additional Information:
  • Clean up fee: $200 if you do not want to clean up after your rental.
  • A cancellation fee will be accessed if you cancel rental with less than a weeks notice.
  • Additional chairs and tables can be rented for a nominal fee.
