This project includes the study and design of roadway improvements of Idalia Road from Northern Boulevard to Iris Road. This study will develop, evaluate, and refine alternatives for the corridor. Environmental documentation will be prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and preliminary engineering plans will be developed. Final design will be completed for the first two phases including Priority Project 1 (Intersection of Idalia Rd and Broadmoor Blvd) and Priority Project 2 (Intersection of Idalia Rd and Loma Colorado Blvd). The project is funded with City funds (approximately $800,000), state funds (approximately $800,000), and federal funds (approximately $1.6 million).”
